Character info: Ixxur or Ix is the 9th ruler of raven spirits. Like all raven spirits, he is well mannered, educated, logical and good at running businesses. He is very trustworthy and thus, he was working in the royal court. However, he is not without flaws. He is slightly snobby and loves to get praise, he craves for it actually. Anything shiny excites him. After he was publicly humiliated at the Gilvenian royal spring party by Mitty Granopia (under her aunt's pressure) he started to despise the taste of blueberry cream cake. After his public image gets unfairly ruined he starts to run a business with Noori and at the same time listens to travellers gossip about the shady dealings happening in the aristocratic circles. The raven spirits are ashamed of him and he looses his position among them as well. He wants to proove he is still worth their trust. He can feel something is cooking under the surface and he starts to do his own investigation. He travels far and wide with Trix, a creature he found doing tricks and playing jokes on people at the Gilvenian harbour. He later meets Mitty again and wants her help to get information about the royal court. They become friends after he realises Mitty is also a victim of her aunt.

Character info: Noori is an old dragon spirit of the Northern Forest of Gilvenian. He is known among other spirits to be vain and selfish in the past. He got trapped in a small island near Gilvenian harbour for 1000 years as a punishment for not doing his duties as a guardian of the forest after Xyir, dragon of the West, is found assassinated (not Noori's fault thou). He does not get along with the other dragons, especially Cerus. He thinks Cerus is moody and sulky creature, who darkens the atmosphere. Noori used to be very self-loving creature, who did only care for surficial beauty, but has slightly changed over the years (and will face a challenge to test out his true heart later). He is now running a magic shop with few other characters and sells spells and potions to help the citizens an travellers from far and wide with their problems and other needs they might have. He loves a good gossip and spends most of his freetime smoking pipe, wandering around collecting plants for potions and reading questionable novels. He also likes to visit the harbour area to watch and see what travellers are up to and maybe buy some nice fabrics for his costumes. He is little bit sassy, mysterious and hard to read, but also very entertaining and extroverted. He is actually very powerful, but likes to down play his skills, because he does not want people to ask him too much favours.

Character info: Ifgur Filezi is an old blood-eater. He teaches at the Gilvenian national liberal art academy. He is a big brother of Camilr Filezi, a young blood-eater. Unfortunately their mother passed away soon after she gave birth to Camilr. Ifgur's father, Gellarc Filezi, passed away several decades ago, so he is the head of Filezi house. Camilr's father, Jirfan Bellag, remarried and left them after Zaraa passed away. Ifgur doesn't get along with him, because he left Camilr behind. Ifgur loves Camilr, so he is happy to be his caregiver, but he doesn't know how to spend time with much younger Camilr, so he is rather distant character at first. Camilr has horrible headaches and muscle problems, so Ifgur hires a young woman, who presents herself as a woodland spirit, to help Camilr. Ifgur realises Rissa is actually a dying human and slowly falls in love with her kindness. Ifgur tells her that he can turn her into a blood-eater and give her a longer life. Later he proposes her.
Ifgur grey up during a time when blood-eaters had big representation on the royal capital and had many respected members on the royal court. If you ask blood-eaters, thesedays greedy humans try to harvest all the power to their hands. Blood-eaters or vampires, like some travellers call them, rarely harm humans. There are some bad eggs among them, but actually even they much prefer sweeter blood of other creatures. If you ask the blood-eaters that is just a malicious rumour that has been spread in order to make their numbers fall. Blood-eaters crave for blood especally when they are young, but the blood thrist calms when they are older. They don't need blood to survive, but as the name suggest, they do indeed love the taste of blood. So if there is blood available, they will most likely take the offer.

Character info: Grewi has very strong personality, he likes to think of himself as a leader of the dragon spirits and plays a judge. He does not get along with Noori (dragon the the North) and Cerus (dragon of the East) after the dragon of the West and the partner of Cerus, Xyir, passed away tragically. He is looking for the new dragon of West, who has been missing for years, in order to restore the natural balance and calm the toxic relationship between the dragon spirits. Eventhough Grewi seems very collected an cool creature, he is secretly very obsessed with collecting luxury things and loves to eat delicious food. He is a secret foodie.

Character info: Cerus is the dragon of the East. He used to be well-known for being an warm and caring creature, but after his partner, Xyir (dragon of the West), passed away, he changed into a gloomy creature, who rarely talks to anyone. He tried to save Xyir by transmitting half of his life force into him, but the process failed and he burnt himelf with his own magic. After Xyir passed away he lost hope of ever being happy again. Usually when people or creatures lost their hope a goddess called Dama finds the lost hope and burries it in the garden of Ilengia, so that the lost hope can bloom into a new hope and people can move on. However, when Dama saw that the lost hope of Cerus (later named Trix) had a strong desire to live she felt bad for it and let it go. Somehow as a creature who was formed from hopes herself, she felt a weird connection with the little lost hope. That is why Cerus cannot seem to find any new hope and keeps thinking of past times with saddness in his heart. He is probably the most powerful of all the dragons, but since his mood is very gloomy, his powers are sleeping.

Character info: Rissa Parilpa is a noblewoman, who studied to be a healer. She was well-known for her healing abilities, she used to cure sick children until she caught a deadly lung disease, that spread in the Northern parts of Gilvenian towns like wildfire. She was engaged to be married before she caught the disease, so it was a hard decision for her, but she knew she had to isolate herself from the humankind not to spread the disease. She wanted to help other creatures until the end, so she disguises herself as a woodland spirit and finds Filezi house with sick Camilr. She had made a peace with herself that she would pass away due to her illness, but Ifgur had smelled that she was not a woodland spirit but actually a sick human and kept persisting that she must become part of their family as a blood-eater and his wife. She looks bruised because her body was sick and turning into a blood-eater was a rough process, nobody had turnt humans into blood-eaters for centuries, so Ifgur did not know excatly what he should be doing. She agreed to be turnt into a vampire so she can keep taking care of Camilr and help others (after turning into a blood-eater she cannot spread the disease anymore to humans). She takes Regina Moregia, a girl who pretends to have an amnesia, under their roof, because she sees Regina is hiding something. She is very loving and caring person, who always puts everybody else before herself.

Character info: Mitty has had a cursed eye since she was little. Her parents mysteriously passed away when she was a child, so she lives with her evil aunt, Daalia Granopia, in their family mansion. When she was trying to run away from her evil aunt, she saw someone attack a dragon spirit and a piece of burning magic scale flew into her left eye. Since then she has been able to make people who look into her eye hallusinate and obey her commands. Slowly people start to get scared of her and call her by a malicious nickname ”Calamitty”, because meeting her feels like a sudden disaster. People don't know the secret of her eye, so they think she puts curses on them. Her evil aunt wants power in the Gilvenian town aristocrat circle and takes advantage of Mitty’s powers and makes her use them in a way she is not comfortable with. Her aunt wants her to act cold and daunting manner. In reality she is a caring person, who loves animals and card games. Hurting people makes her sad.

Character info: Regina is given from her orphanage to Granopia family as a house maid when she is 15 years old. She does not remember how she ended up in the orphanage, but nurses in the orphanage told that she was left in a beautifully embroided scraf and a note that said her name is Regina Moregia. Her real name is Margaret "Maggie" Reraino. She is the king's daughter, who is supposed to be dead. Regina did hate the orphanage, because other children used to bully her and call her a rag princess, because she had her scraf, which was the only memory of her past life. One day she saw her scraf in a bucket of water. The children in the orphanage had used it to clean the windows and it was shredded and dirty. She was happy to move to the Granopia family, even though Daalia Granopia, the head of the house, looked daunting. After her orphanage years, she had hard time on trusting people, so she never made friends with the other servants in the Granopia house. However, she find this young lady, called Mitty, very interesting. Mitty acted very cold manner in public and many people were scared of her. There was rumours, that after meeting her people would act weird and make reckless decions, but Mitty was always kind to her... Regina slowly made friends with her. She got to know the secret of her cursed eye and realised Mitty's aunt was using her to get power in the aristocratic circles. Regina is very determined and straightforward person, who does not trust people easily, but when she makes friends, she has them for a life time. She likes to sew and tries to learn embroidery, so she could replicate the scraf she had as a child.
One day when she is running errands, she hears a rumour of a famous healer who dissapeared few years ago in the Gilvenian forest. The healer had healed sick children from all parts of Gilvenian. Regina tells Mitty about her and Mitty helps her escape the Granopia house, so she could try to find this healer. Regina almost gets caught the next day she escapes, as she runs into an another servant from the Granopia house. After Regina falls down from a muddy hill, she runs into a sick looking boy, who tells her that the healer is his family member. Regina does find her, but she is not a healer anymore, nor she is a human. Regina desides to investigate more, so she preteds to have amnesia and look for shelter.

His brother is very distant character to him before Rissa Parilpa, a human disguised as a woodland spirit comes to their house to help him with his sickness. As a young blood-eater he sometimes has a hard time with his blood-cravings. He also has horrible headaches, that make his limbs numb and sometimes he passes out. That is why he rarely goes out and spends most of his time inside playing and reading. Saturday evening is his favourite time, because his brother brings him a new trinket or curiosity from town. Actually he doesn't care about the curiosity, but the time he gets to spend with his brother. Blood-eaters or vampires, like some travellers call them, rarely harm humans. He has never run so fast and he is scared that his limbs will go numb anytime... but the smell! It it so inviting! He finds a human that has fallen off a hill and has cut and bruises all over her legs. He is very tempted to charm her and take some of her blood, but he is amazed by her bravery to wander in the deep forest area, where most humans don't dare to come even on a sunny day. The human says her name is Regina and she is looking for someone called Rissa Parilpa. He surpresses his craving and brings her to meet his family.

After that humankind fell into great depression and ancient creatures decided to give her a job as a goddess, who collects all the lost opportunities and burries them in a garden of Ilengia, so people can find new hope and move forward. Sometimes she has flashbacks from her past live as memories of different people and this saddens her. She finds it difficult to collect lost hope, as sometimes people don't want to let go, even if it would be better for them to find new paths.

Character info: Milka is royal blood, she is the king’s second sister’s daughter. She is a carefree tomboy, who hates societal norms and being told she cannot do something. She hates the current atmosphere in the royal court and wants to change things. After she hears Odely Taqawa (a corrupt palace guard, who does anything for money before she is attacked and left to die, later saved by Laria, the new dragon of the West) talk about the possibility that her cousin, Maggie Reraino (aka Regina Moregia), who was supposed to be dead, is actually alive somewhere. She starts to spy Odely, who tries to track down Mitty Granopia, and sees she is attacked by few other palace guards. Milka disguises her face and tries to create a distraction and lure the guards away from Odely. The guards start chase her, but she is able to loose them. Later when she returns to Odely she cannot find her anymore. She confused, but decides that she needs to track down Mitty herself, maybe she has information about Maggie or the corruption in the royal court and aristocratic circles.

Character info: Trix is a little creature formed from lost hopes of Cerus (dragon of the East). Usually when people or creatures lost their hope a goddess called Dama finds the lost hope and burries it in the garden of Ilengia, so that the lost hope can bloom into a new hope and people can move on. However, when Dama saw that the lost hope of Cerus had a strong desire to live she felt bad for it and let it go. Trix loves to trick people and play around. They find it funny when people get surprised. Trix was found and captured in Gilvenian harbour by Ix. Trix was also named by him. Later Ix and Trix become friends and travel together looking for interesting little trinkets and magical curiosities they can sell in Noori's magic shop. After the new dragon of the West is discovered Trix starts to feel like they have to reunite with their old self (Cerus).

They take care of the plants around them and sometimes help lost travellers buy lighting small lights for them to follow in a forest. Woodland creatures are mysterious and hard to see as they are very shy and usually don't like to show themselves.
