GILVENIA

Gilvenia and its neighbouring areas are an imaginery land where my OCs live. 

Welcome! Gilvenia is a land of humans and mythical creatures, that for the most part are in good terms. The capital city is a grand sight. The city is located in a sea side, it is a seaport to locations far and near with interesting travellers' gossip to hear and lots wonderful cuisines to try. You might have already heard this, but Gilvenia is a monarchy with several powerful aristocratic families. However, do not get too tangled in the local politics if you want to steer from troubles. Thesedays something is cooking up in the shadows, if I may say so fair traveller. In front of the harbour area is an island, which is well-known for travellers. Maybe you already visited the island of Lavina that locates a powerful, yet rather vain, dragon spirit, who has a world class magic shop called Whimsy vials & counterspells co. Be it a potion or small trinket for back pain, amnesia, summoning rain or temporary good luck, you can find it there! Travellers also can wander in big unseen forest areas, deep lakes, rivers and mossy old ruins, which lead to garden of Ilengia, a garden for lost hopes. If you wander there too long you might lose your mind, so be aware fair traveller. Maybe you do not have the calling for adventures and rather expand your wisdom. Fear not, you can always enroll into the Gilvenian national academy!  If you wish to expand your travels, Gilvenia also has neighbouring countries, such as the kingdom of Adafikar, that seems to have lots of hidden secrets that wish to unravel.

Gilvenian currency: clyenar coins or you can always try to pay with other offerings depending on the creature you are dealing with, but I shall say, don't make silly agreements. I heard a rumour of traveller paying with 20 years of song and they are still singing in the western forest well. 

In the future I wish to create a whole map of the Gilvenian land, but in the meantime I will try to visualise the places by doing small descriptions.

Filezi house & yard

Filezi family's old mansion, which is currently occupied by Ifgur, Camilr, Rissa and later Regina. The mansion is in the middle of Gilvenian forest, very hard to reach for a mere commoner. You see, blood-eaters, or maybe you call them vampires, like their privacy. For some reason the mansion seems to be surrounded by gloomy clouds most of the days.

Mitty's room

Mitty's room is located in the top floor of Granopia mansion. She has one window and rather dark ambience in her room. Mitty lives with her aunt, who has blocked the other entrance to her room by bookshelfs, so she can control her movements. But fear not, Mitty has a good head on her shoulders and will see her change to escape.

Garden of Ilengia

Ilengia is the garden of lost hopes, that the goddess of lost hopes, Dama, looks after. She buries lost hopes and helps new hope bloom, that she sends to the world like her little children. The garden is a beautiful sight that lures unknowing travellers into abyss of madness. 

Meadow of Desolate Dusk

Foggy meadow near the garden of Ilengia, that seems to always have dusky atmosphere. The meadow is a cursed midway that fills the unsuspecting travellers mind with dark illusions if they sit there too long. If I was you, I would find another place to have a picnic.
